PMP® Exam PreparationCourse DescriptionThe Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, granted by the Project Management Institute (PMI®), demonstrates that one has mastered the essential project management skills and knowledge and has made a "long-term commitment" to the profession. This commitment includes the continual advancement of the profession and adherence to professional ethics. This course prepares the student to pass a rigorous, 200-question exam covering the five project management processes and nine knowledge areas in PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge, Third Edition. (PMBOK®). Students will learn the components of the PMBOK® and related materials that will be tested, so a maximal use of study time can be directed toward passing the exam. Students will become familiar with the makeup and format of the exam as well as test-taking techniques that will improve the chances of passing on the first try. This course provides 30-day access to an online database of sample PMP® exam questions as well as consultation with a PMP® certified project manager. After the two-day course, students will have a 30-day period to practice exam question online using a robust database of 800 questions. Exam Simulation Features:

This course gives students the road map and tools to pass the PMP exam. Students can focus on the entire exam and its knowledge areas or focus on weak spots to bolster confidence and increase the chances of passing. Student Prerequisites: This course is an excellent preparation tool for the student who is familiar with the PMBOK®, has the necessary project management experience and desire to earn his PMP®.
